Starting things over

nolongerarookieAndy was relieved to have a fresh start. It was almost exciting, once she knew she had a job to come to, because then she got to look at apartments, views, things to do in one of the best areas in the world. She was giddy with the idea of a new life that was totally hers.
She'd gotten a cute little apartment in a building not too far from the beach and moved all her stuff in just a day ago. It was still mostly boxed up but Andy didn't care. She could see the beach from her apartment and it was all hers, that's what mattered. She was just going to finish a few things, then call Steve and see if he was off work yet.
At the moment she was in her brand-new shower, getting cleaned up. Enjoying the hot water on her skin and maybe taking a longer shower than she needed to. Of course when your boyfriend is a Navy SEAL, he could probably figure out where she was anyway.
