Andy hadn't needed to tell Terry what had happened because he'd been on duty when the bomb had gone off. He'd been supposed to be her date for the Commissioner's Gala but that had been cancelled so they'd agreed to meet for dinner after shift. That plan looked like it was about to be scrapped too considering she was now being checked out in the back of an ambulance after Sam had pulled her out of the rubble of the evidence room. Andy didn't know how Terry would take this but she'd asked someone to find him for her.

"Concierge," he repeated low, nearly a growl at his pitch of voice. His tone was annoyed, matching the aggravation on his face. Terry didn't look toward Andy. He was biting his tongue from saying something that he wouldn't be able to take back.

She wouldn't have to worry about screwing for days. It was obvious that he was the one screwed. He continued to eat, weathering the calm before a storm.

She didn't pick up the phone to call. Terry wasn't sure if Andy thought going in person was a better choice. Not until she packed her bag did he realize the concierge was no longer a factor. The damage was done even while holding back.

Andy was right. He definitely had an explosive temper. One that came out when challenged or someone that he cared about was disrespected. --Never toward those he cared about. She didn't know him at all.

It would've been yet another blow to learn that Andy was afraid of him. Their ship has sailed, so it seemed. Terry didn't bother going after her. She made the decision to leave without a word after voicing all her discontent--it wasn't like she was shy about saying how she really felt.

He locked the door and headed for a shower.
