Andy went to have a drink at the hotel bar and steady her nerves. Leaving definitely crossed her mind, but that was mixed in with guilt because she knew how much time and effort he'd put in to this weekend for her. Just walking out on that seemed wrong, even though she found herself scared of what he might do to her in this mood.

So once she'd calmed a bit, an hour or so later, she tried his phone. She didn't see it like he did, didn't think it was the end of their relationship. Andy was more inclined to think they were both just under pressure after all the work stress they'd just survived and having a bad day. But if he wanted to break up with her, well, she couldn't force him to stay.
